Brandi A. Peters is a seasoned attorney with over two decades of experience and a proven track record advising public-sector institutions on complex employment law, litigation, compliance, regulatory, and governance matters. Ms. Peters has served in management and senior legal roles in the federal government, where she led large-scale investigations, administrative and judicial litigation, and high-impact legal strategy initiatives involving compliance strategy, public governance, and workforce policy. She brings deep subject matter knowledge of employment discrimination law, internal investigations and a well-rounded skill set in corporate legal operations, administrative law, and risk mitigation across multi-jurisdictional and federally regulated environments.

Ms. Peters brings a strong background in employment law, policy development, and strategic legal counsel in high-stakes, multi-jurisdictional environments. She has worked closely with leadership on matters involving compliance audits, risk mitigation strategies, personnel changes, and oversight of large-scale federal programs, including budget and financial tracking responsibilities. Ms. Peters has collaborated with HR, executive leadership, and cross-functional partners on matters involving risk mitigation, labor-management relations, and a wide range of employment matters, including internal investigations, workforce restructuring, performance management, accommodations, discipline, and compliance with federal anti-discrimination and wage-and-hour laws. Her responsibilities have included leading compliance audits, interpreting federal and state employment statutes and regulations, and developing internal policies and training. She has also managed legal reviews tied to executive decision-making, internal reporting, and governance frameworks—experience that contributes to her strong understanding of organizational structure, oversight, and accountability. 

Ms. Peters earned her Juris Doctor degree from Howard University School of Law and served on the Howard Law Journal. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
 
In addition to her legal career, Ms. Peters is an active civic leader, currently serving as a board member, coach, and committee chair for various youth development and community programs in Prince George’s County, Maryland. She is known for her collaborative leadership style, sound judgment, and ability to deliver practical legal guidance in dynamic and evolving environments.
 
Ms. Peters is licensed to practice law in Maryland, New Jersey, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
